The Governing Council Chairman of Osun State College of Technology Esa-Oke, Hon. Prince Diran Odeyemi on Friday 18th August met with the leadership of the three Staff Unions in the institution . The meeting has in attendance the Management of the institution, led by the Rector, Dr. Samson Akinbamide Omobayo Adegoke. The Executives of the Unions were led by their Chairmen Comrade Agbaje Taofeek for ASUP, Comrade Semiu Bello for NASU and Comrade Ajilore Abayomi Olufemi for SSANIP. The meeting being the first time the Chairman will be meeting with the Unions was an interactive one. The Chairmen of the Unions took turn to present their members' agitations, which were all hinged on Staff welfare. The Unions appreciated Rector Adegoke led Management for always attending to Union's demands on Staff Welfare. Dr. S.A.O Adegoke who was described as a labour friendly Rector, was commended for making the Peculiar Allowance and payment of other benefits of Staff top priorities of his administration. The Chairman OSCOTECH Governing Council, Hon. Prince Diran Odeyemi having formally been introduced to the Unions, encouraged Staff of the institution to be dedicated to their duties. He promised to run an all inclusive, fair and open administration. He also promised all Staff of the institution of better days ahead. According to him, staff of the College need not worry as he is ready to build on the already existing cordial relationship among all stakeholders in the institution. The labour leaders eulogized Hon. Odeyemi; he was described as a great leader with an impeccable track record. They expressed their readiness to work with him in ensuring that Osun State College of Technology Esa-Oke is comfortably placed among the world leading Technology based institutions.
