The 2-day Capacity Building Seminar organised by the College Management for the Registry Staff came to an end on Friday 21st June, 2024. Seasoned administrators, among whom are Prince M.A Adeoye, Dr. Layi Oparinde and Mr. K Oyeniyi presented Papers on the following topics.
i) Management of meetings, minutes, reports, internal memorandum writing and minuting.
ii) Application of Information Technology tools to Communication for Quality Service delivery today.
iii) Improving work ethics and attitudinal behaviour for improved efficiency in a tertiary institution.
iv) Creativity in delegation of duties and accountability: Issues, challenges and strategies.
v) Evolving efficient record administration for improved productivity in tertiary institutions and
vii)Administration of staff discipline: defining the issues.
Participants at the end of the seminar appreciated the Management for the opportunity given to them to benefit from the seminar.
The Registrar Mr. S.O Popoola appreciated God for making the programme a success, he also appreciated the Chairman, Governing Council, Prince Diran Odeyemi and the Rector Dr., Samson Akinbamide Omobayo Adegoke and his Management team for granting approval for the programme; all Registry Staff; and the Consultant, Prince M.A Adeoye and his team of facilitators for lectures well delivered. Registrar Popoola further admonished participants to make the best use of knowledge gained and improve tremendously on areas they are lacking. "Registry Staff must know that their service is to God and to humanity", he concluded.
