Osun State College of Technology Esa-Oke on Saturday 28th September, 2024 conducted Matriculation Ceremony for Part-time students admitted for 2023/2024 academic session.
The Rector of the College, Dr. Samson Akinbamide Omobayo Adegoke having congratulated the Matriculating Students in his speech, charged them to comport themselves in good manners, abide by the the College rules and regulations, and not to engage in activities that could tarnish the good image of the College . Furthermore, he warned against Examination malpractices because its punishment in the College, is outright dismissal.
Moreover, the Rector appreciated the visitor to the College, the Governor of the state, senator Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke for his support to the institution. The Chairman of OSCOTECH 9th Governing Council, Prince Diran Odeyemi and other council members were also appreciated for their unflinching commitment to peace and progress of the College.
The Registrar, Mr. Samuel Olufemi Popoola administered the admission oath to the Students, he advised them to be of good conduct and good ambassadors of the college.
Osun State College of Technology, Esa-Oke is a fast rising technology based institution, it's interested in producing workforce that is technologically equipped, to take up the challenges of today and tomorrow. The College won the second position among all tertiary institutions in Nigeria, and invariably first position among all Polytechnics in an exhibition organised by the Federal Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation in Abuja, tagged 'Expo 2020.
