Rector hosts NAPS global President in his office. The Rector Dr. Samson Omobayo Adegoke received Comrade Benedict Olalere, the National Association of Polytechnic Students’ global President and his team in his office on 10th January 2020 at Esa- Oke. In his speech, Comrade Olalere commended the management under the leadership of Dr. Adegoke for the giant stride in the accreditation of more programs and the beautification of the Campus environment. He also informed the Rector that due to reports received on the Rectors performance so far, the Nigerian Polytechnic Students have pencils him down for an award to be conferred on him as an outstanding Rector in Abuja this year. Comrade Olalere appeal to the Rector to show more understanding and tolerance with the Students Union in some grey arrears such as tax clearance from parents or guardians and other issues. The Rector in his response appreciated the maturity of the Students Union body and concluded that the future is indeed bright for the Country with this set of leadership. He assured the Students body of his readiness to continue to strive towards achieving the vision and mission of the College as articulated by the founding fathers with the support of members of management and the entire staff. The reception was attended by me Principal Officers of the College, the Dean Student Affairs Dr. B. S. Agbolade and Director Media, PR and Protocol, Dr. Wale Oyekanmi. The Comrade President was accompanied by the President of OSCOTECH Students Union, Comrade S. O. J and his executives with other National Officers of NAPS.
